The training of plant doctor in MSc is the priority of the Institute, in both Hungarian and English language. This course is announced every semester, and then number of students is very high. Since 2010, we have enabled the personal prosperity of more thn 600 students, who have obtained a master degree in plant medicine, and the creation of a national human resource for plant protection, engineer of grapevine – winemaker, engineer of rural development (Székelyudvarhely).
In addition, our staff is involved in the teaching of plant protection subjects in the following BSc courses: engineer of horticulture (domestic and international education – Beregszász, Révkomárom, Zenta), engineer of environmental sciences, engineer of plant production, engineer of agriculture (domestic and international education – Beregszász, Zenta), engineer of nature conservation, engineer of agriculture (Engish education),
MSc courses are taught in the following courses: Horticultural Engineer, Agricultural Engineer (five years training), Ecological Farming Engineer, Crop Production Engineer in (Hungarian and English), and Precision Agricultural Engineer training.
The number of foreign students on our English language courses is increasing every year. Talent management is a matter of our heart: our students are highly successful at the National Scientific Student Conferences. Our staff are also actively involved in the work of the Doctoral Schools on our campuses as instructors, supervisors and core members.
Plant Protection PhD Programme is believed to be one of the dominant topics: Thre are 23, 22 and 7 PhD students working at the Buda, Szent István (Gödöllő) and the Georgikon Campuses (Keszthely), respectively.
